Jena is a #1 best-selling author, a mom and business owner of a Diversity and Inclusion Consulting business. She uses her experience coupled with her vast education to create positive movement within businesses and education institutions to develop and strengthen cross cultural competency, maximize connection and minimize fear. She works hard to bring awareness to an area that is often misunderstood, brushed aside and overlooked.

Jena brings 15 years of diversity and inclusion industry experience to mainstream audiences and advocates for underserved populations including women, BIPOC, LGBTQ+ and people with cognitive, physical and mental disabilities. She is bilingual in American Sign Language and English and uses extensive knowledge of Deaf culture to connect with and serve the Deaf community. Jena is an expert in gender-based violence prevention education and implements leadership and equitable workplace training development for C-level executives, higher education administrators, law enforcement and Human Resource professionals, using a trauma informed lens.  She shares her own survivor story to empower other victims and is available for speaking engagements, workshops and educational programming. 
 
Jena is a mom to her children Julian and Jackson and loves random road trips, traveling internationally and playing softball. She is an empath, extroverted and loves being surrounded by family and friends. A total foodie and explorer, her happy places are at wineries overlooking the Blue Ridge Mountains in Virginia, speakeasies and sushi in New York City and the beach in Santa Barbara, California.
